Marbella is located in the southern part of Spain across from the shores of Morocco between Malaga and Gibraltar. Marbella dates back to 1600 BC and was a Roman trading post due to its unique geographical location. Nowadays, Marbella is a high class tourist resort for Spanish and Foreign visitors alike and contains many historic monuments namely the Marbella Old Town with its maze of small side streets. Marbella is also a shopping haven with a wealth of stores in downtown Marbella or the high class area of Puerto Banus.
